Antique Drum Table

So now that you know about my little obsession with Annie Sloan paint and you also know about my other obsession with going to estate sales, I thought I would show you the marriage of my two obsessions...

Enter one antique wooden drum table bought at estate sale. She's a beauty, right?

Enter a couple coats of Annie Sloan's Pure White Chalk Paint...

Distress and wax to liking and it's a match made in heaven!

Read about how I judged those books (sitting on top) by their covers. Yikes!

I will be playing at these parties this week.

  1. I have an antique drum table that I'd love to paint. (I have a lot of wood i'd love to paint) But, my husband has threatened divorce, so it should remain wood.

  3. That looks really sharp. Can't wait till it warms up enough to paint. Well I paint now but it takes forever to dry in this cold weather.

  5. Courtney, I have nearly the identical table in my basement right now that I just painted duck egg blue. I plan on painting a clock face on the top of it (my personal obsession). I know what you mean about painting in the basement as I am also from MI. Following you from Transformation Thurs. Dee @ mypaintedstuff.blogspot.com Nice job on the table, Dee
